Technical Assistant (Total – 18 Posts)

Category Wise Distribution:

• UR – 7 Posts
• OBC (NCL) – 6 Posts
• EWS – 2 Posts

Eligibility Criteria – CSIR NPL Recruitment 2026

✅ Educational Qualification

Candidates must have:

For Engineering Disciplines:

• Diploma (3 years) with minimum 60% marks + 2 years experience
  OR
• Lateral Diploma (2 years) with 60% + experience

For Science Disciplines:

• B.Sc in Physics / Applied Physics / Chemistry with 60% marks + 1 year experience

For Computer Science:

• Diploma in CS/IT OR
• B.Sc (CS/IT) with experience

Age Limit (as on 27 Feb 2026)

• Maximum Age: 28 Years

Age Relaxation:

• SC/ST – 5 Years
• OBC – 3 Years
• PwBD – 10 Years
• Government Employees – up to 5 Years
• Ex-Servicemen – As per rules

Salary Structure – CSIR NPL Recruitment 2026

Selected candidates will be placed in:

₹35,400 to ₹1,12,400 per month

Selection Process – CSIR NPL Recruitment 2026

The recruitment will be conducted in two stages:

1️⃣ Trade Test (Qualifying): Candidates shortlisted based on qualifications will appear for a skill-based trade test.

2️⃣ Written Examination

Exam Pattern for CSIR NPL Recruitment 2026

📘 Paper I – Mental Ability (Qualifying)

• 50 Questions – 100 Marks
• No Negative Marking

📙 Paper II – General Awareness & English

• 50 Questions – 150 Marks
• Negative Marking: 1 mark

📗 Paper III – Subject Specific

• 100 Questions – 300 Marks
• Negative Marking: 1 mark

🕒 Total Time: 3 Hours

Final merit will be based on Paper II & III performance.
