Educational Qualification

For MTS Post

• Must have passed Matriculation (10th Class) or equivalent from a recognised board.

For Driver Post

• Must have passed 10th Standard
• Possession of valid driving licence for LMV & HMV
• Knowledge of basic motor mechanism
• Minimum 3 years of driving experience

CSIR IITR Age Limit 2026

The minimum age for all posts is 18 years.

Upper Age Limit

• MTS: 25 years
• Driver: 27 years

Age Relaxation

As per government rules:

• SC/ST – 5 years
• OBC (NCL) – 3 years
• PwBD – up to 10 years
• Ex-Servicemen – as per service rendered
• Widows/Divorced Women – up to 35 years (40 for SC/ST)
